Itinerary: Aug 18th, Friday
8 AM Springville
8:30 AM Lehi
8-11:30 AM Drive *note if bringing own kayaks need to have them checked at border and pay a fee.
11:30 AM Lunch at E Street Deli in Burley, ID
12:30 PM Drive to 1000 Springs Campground in Hagerman, ID
2:30 PM Check in to 1000 Springs Campground.
3:30 PM Drive to Banbury Hot Springs (stage some cars at 1000 Springs)
4:00 PM Kayak or Paddleboard from Banbury Hot Springs to Blue Heart Springs
*Optional can rent from Blue Heart Kayaking
6:00 PM 1000 Springs Campground Potluck Dinner & Relax rest of evening
South Idaho Board of Tourism does not yet know when waterfalls will be lit up at night for 2023. Will keep you posted.

9:00 AM Rent Kayaks/Boat Trip at Centennial Waterfront Park
Advanced Group
Kayak from Centennial to Shoshone Falls - 3:00 PM (must have rescue rope)
Beginner/Intermediate Group - 1:00 PM
Rent Boat Tour & Kayak from AWOL Adventure Sport $70/person.
Boat takes you 2/3 distance, to Pillar Falls embankment, then you put kayak in from there. Kayak to falls then return to boat. *Recommend this unless you are an advanced kayaker.

Driving: North 1-15 to Burley Idaho for dinner, then Hagerman ID to sleep/ first kayak. Centenial Waterfront Park, Twin Falls for Saturday kayak, then home.
Activity:
Hot Springs and 2 Kayak Trips 1000 Springs and Banbury Hot Springs. Kayak trips from Banbury to Blue Heart (beginner/intermediate). Kayak from Centennial Park on own to Shoshone Falls (Advanced) or Boat tour/Kayak Rental through AWOL (Beginner/Intermediate)
Gear: swimsuit, sunscreen, long sleeve synthetic shirt, water shoes, kayak and/or paddleboard (can rent), tent, sleeping bag, pad, change of clothes, change of swimsuit/water gear for next day, sunglasses, pillow, potluck food for dinner, brown bag for lunch Sat. own breakfast for Sat. money for dinner meals.
