Road Biking - Mapleton Lateral Trail, Mapleton (Beginner)

Itinerary:

Carpooling - 830 am

Bike - 9-11am

Directions: Trailhead is above the Wayne Bartholomew Family Park in Mapleton.  Trailhead

Activity: Bike - Mapleton Lateral Canal Trail - 10.5 mile loop on paved trail. Route- Mapleton Main St and about 1700 S to Spanish Fork windmills and back to hill above Wayne

Bartholomew Reservoir.

Gear: Bike, helmet, biking pants/shorts/yoga pants, synthetic T-shirt, long sleeve synthetic top, long sleeve fleece, light waterproof jacket, thin gloves, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, camelback or regular back pack with waist belt, 1-2 Liters water bottles or in a bladder in a small backpack, 3-4 snacks, first aid kit, running shoes/biking shoes

Road Bike - $35/day (UVU Outdoor Adventure Center), $35/day (BYU Outdoors Unlmtd)

Helmet - $5/day (BYU Outdoors Ulmtd); $3/day (UVU Outdoor Adventure Center)
