Relaxing - Yoga - Paddle boarding - Hiking & More! Girl's Trip Escape on the Cheap. $5 for the campground. Come play and get away up Cedar Canyon surrounded by Cedar Breaks, Navajo Lake, Mammoth Caves, & Cascade Falls. We have reserved campsites right on the waterfront of Duck Creek Lake.

ITINERARY:

July 14th

7:30 AM Carpool Lehi

8:00 AM Carpool Springville

8-12 Drive

12-1 Set up camp at Duck Creek Campground

1:00 PM Lunch @ Hot Mamas Pizza at Duck Creek Village

2:00 PM Relax or Paddleboard/Kayak Navajo Lake

4:00 PM  Hike Cascade Falls (1.2mi 29 min) and/or Mammoth Cave (explore 30 min)

Evening Ideas:

6:00 PM Dinner at Martin's Deli, Live Bands & Karaoke

6:00 PM - 7:40 Free Shakespeare Festival Greenshow in Cedar City

July 15th 

8:00 AM Mountain Yoga

9:00 AM Mt Mama Breakfast Buffet (sign ups)

10:30 AM Spectra Point Overlook Hike Cedar Breaks (1.9 mi 57 min) or ATVs or Horseback Riding at Duck Creek Village.

12:30 PM Lunch in Cedar City

TRIP COST: 

$5 for reserved camp site. Gas chip in for carpool. You buy your own food & optional excursions.

DIRECTIONS: 

I-15 S to Cedar City.  Take Scenic Highway 14 E. At mile marker 29 is Duck Creek Village. We  are staying at Duck Creek Campground Campsite along the waterfront.

GEAR: 

Synthetic  t-shirt & long sleeve, yoga pants, fleece, rain jacket, socks,  hiking shoes, sunscreen, bug spray, sunglasses, pjs, coat, gloves, hat,  swimsuit, towel, change of clothes, sleeping bag, pad, tent (will  share), pillow, flashlight, sleeping aids, medications, ear plugs,  toiletries (campground has bathroom but no shower), Breakfast potluck  item (sign up sheet TBA), hammock (optional), 3L water, snacks.

Optional Activities if doing can bring gear for:

-Paddleboard or kayak and oar (can rent BYU or UVU)

-Helmet, leather gloves, headlamp for Mammoth cave

-Blanket for Shakespeare Greenshow

-Yoga mat

-Harness, Rappelling device (can rent BYU or UVU)

-Frisbee
