Swimsuit/Costume Downhill Ski - Alta (all skill levels)

Itinerary:

1 pm Head out to Alta

2 - 3 pm - Tailgate

3 - 430 pm - Swimsuit/Costume ski

Drive:  I-15 north, east 9000 s, up Little Cottonwood Cyn to Alta Ski Resort at  the end of the road, lower parking lot. Meet in front of the Ski School (1st floor - south side). Meet outside the Albion Grill east side for tailgate.

Activity: Tailgate - Meet outside the Albion Grill. Will be grilling up brats and having a potluck prior to skiing

Downhill Skiing - Ski down to the FREE Snow Pine lift. Beginner lift - 2 short runs. Lift is absolutely FREE every day of the week during ski season 9:00am - 4:30pm. (we will not be doing any ski lessons for this activity - just come and play)

Gear:  Downhill skiis, poles, boots, helmet, long sleeve synthetic shirt,  liner pants, ski pants, ski coat, gloves, hat, goggles, sunscreen,  costume or swimsuit! 

Rentals: Downhill ski package ($17 BYU Outdoors Unlimited, $18 with helmet UVU Outdoor Adventure Center, $34 1/2 day Alta) Helmet ($6 BYU Outdoors Unlimited)
