Youth Hike - Donut Falls, Big Cottonwood Cyn - LOCATION CHANGE TO LISA FALLS

*This is part of the Youth Summer Hikes Program running April-Sept. Open to ALL AGES! We may cap the trip at 20 for safety, depending on the trip. Parents MUST attend with youth. Every youth is $5/mo or $20/summer. Venmo @mtmamas with youth name and age.

Itinerary:

Trailhead - 930 am

Hike - 930-1230 pm

Directions -Donut Falls Trailhead, Big Cottonwood Cyn

Parking at the Summer Trailhead can be a beast, so be patient. Park in the parking lot or on the rt side of the road (facing towards the trail) where there isn't No Parking Signs. 

Activity -

Hike Donut Falls - 1.5 mi total out and back. Classic, beautiful trail. Mountain meadows, streams, and yes, we will have donuts at the top. NOTE - serious rock fall has occured in the gorge just below the cave with the waterfall, so journey further at your own risk. All Trails Trip Report. 

Optional Forest School Activity - Intuition Game

Gear - Hiking pants, synthetic T-shirt, long sleeve synthetic top, long sleeve fleece, light waterproof jacket, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, camelback or regular back pack with waist belt, 1 Liters water, 2-4 snacks, first aid kit, hiking boots/running shoes
