Youth Hike - Lake Mary, Big Cottonwood Cyn

*This is part of the Youth Summer Hikes Program running April-Sept. Open to ALL AGES! We may cap the trip at 20 for safety, depending on the trip. Parents MUST attend with youth. Every youth is $5/mo or $20/summer. Venmo @mtmamas with youth name and age.

Itinerary:

Trailhead - 930 am

Hike - 930-1230 pm

Directions -Lake Mary Trailhead, Brighton Ski Resort, Big Cottonwood Cyn

Park in the Brighton parking lot. Trailhead is south of the large Kiosk.

Activity -

Hike Lake Mary - 2.6 mi total out and back trail. Does include steep portions at the end and does get rocky at times. Ends in mountain lake. Trip Report. 

Optional Forest Activity - Water Rafts

Gear - Hiking pants, synthetic T-shirt, long sleeve synthetic top, long sleeve fleece, light waterproof jacket, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, camelback or regular back pack with waist belt, 1 Liters water, 2-4 snacks, first aid kit, hiking boots/running shoes
