Road Biking - Spanish Fork 8/24/23

A beautiful ride through the Spanish fork trail next to the river and through pastures. Amazing views were present all the way through. Trees provided shade and cloud cover made the ride breezy and cool. A perfect day for a bike ride.

Itinerary:

7:30 am - Carpool

8:30 am - Trailhead

8:45 am - 11:15 am - Bike

11:30 am - Head home

Directions: Canyon View Park, Spanish Fk

Activity: Bike - Spanish Fork River Trail, follows the river from Golf Course to Sports Complex park. - 12.1 mi out n back. Rode trail from Canyon View Park to the Spanish Fk Sports Park ( 5 miles) and back, but the trail continues until the Urban Forrest Spanish Fork Disc Golf Park here (6.2 miles one way)

Gear: Bike, helmet, biking pants/shorts/yoga pants, synthetic T-shirt, long sleeve synthetic top, light waterproof jacket, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, camelback or regular back pack with waist belt, 1-2 Liters water bottles or in a bladder in a small backpack, 3-4 snacks, first aid kit, running shoes/biking shoes
