*This is a lottery event. You will be notified on Dec 7th if you got in. If you are on the waiting list, you will be notified as spots open up.

Itinerary:

Resort - 10:00 am

Lesson - 10:30 am - 11:30 am

Lunch - 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm (can bring your own or buy there)

Ski (on your own) - 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Directions: Brighton Ski Resort, Brighton, Big Cottonwood Canyon

Cost:     Learner Lift Pass (Magestic and Explorer Lifts 9am-9pm) - $60+

7 hr pass (any lift, starts when you want) - $100+

4 Hour pass (any lift, starts anytime after noon) - $70+

Night pass (night lifts, 4-9pm) - $50+

All Day passes (all lifts, 9am-4pm) - $100+

Can get the Go-Card for about $80 early season or on KSL

Activity: Beginner Downhill Skiing and Snowboarding Clinics for one hour, then ski/snowboard on your own for the day!

Beginners - Caterpillar (magic carpet), Magestic and Explorer Lifts

Intermediate - Crest and Great Western Lifts

Gear: Downhill skis/boots/poles or snowboard and boots, helmet, (NO COTTON) thermal top and bottom, wool socks or just not cotton socks, snow pants, long sleeve fleece, down or puffy coat, light waterproof jacket, gloves, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, 2 snacks in your coat, packed lunch, water bottles (in car), backpack (if you want to carry stuff on the mountain)

Rentals (on your own): Downhill ski package - includes skis, poles, boots: $18 (UVU Outdoor Adventure Center - includes helmet); $25 (BYU Outdoors Unltd)

Snowboard: $20 (UVU Outdoor adventure Center includes helmet) $25 (BYU Outdoors unltd - no helmet) Helmet - $6 (BYU Outdoors Unltd)
