Hiking - Silver Lake (Intermediate)

Itinerary

Hike -  5-8pm  

Directions - Past Tibble Fork Reservoir, up dirt road to Silver Lake Trailhead (high clearance vehicle recommended)  Trailhead

Activity -

Hiking Silver Lake - Silver Lake Trail is a 4.7 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Alpine, Utah that features a lake and is rated as moderate. Start at north end of Silver Lake Flats and wind your way uphill on a rocky dirt trail with several switchbacks. Trail becomes steep. Finished on south end of Silver Lake. Dogs allowed.  Trail Report

Gear - Hiking pants, synthetic T-shirt, long sleeve synthetic top, long sleeve fleece, light waterproof jacket, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, camelback or regular back pack with waist belt, 2-3 Liters water, 4-6 snacks, first aid kit, hiking boots/running shoes, trekking poles (optional)
