Activity: Hiking Stewart Falls - 3.4 mile moderate out and back trail from the Aspen Grove trailhead above the Sundance Ski Resort. Moderate to flat dirt trail. Two-tier water fall at the end, but be careful climbing around falls as many people have been seriously injured from falls or loose rock. Icicles in the winter are beautiful. Know avalanche conditions before attempting in the winter. This trail crosses a huge avalanche path. One spot near the falls gets steep and slippery. We slid down on our bums on the way down but you could use microspikes. In the shade most the time. The falls were mostly iced over with some running water. All Trails Trip Report
