Easy beautiful Ice Waterfall!


Drive: I-15, Pleasant Grove Blvd exit, 200 s (google "Battle Creek Falls Trailhead"

Activities:

Hike 0.6 miles one way to frozen Battlecreek Falls. Winter waterfalls are so amazing

and change week to week! Bring yak tracks/spikes/crampons for traction on hard

snow/ice. Snowshoes if there has been a recent snowfall. Can continue trail up the

Ice Climbing or Waterfall Rappelling?


Gear - Yak tracks/Spikes/crampons, Snowshoes/poles (weather dependent), gaiters (optional - can rent), (NO COTTON) thermal top and bottom, wool socks or just not cotton socks, snow pants, long sleeve fleece, light waterproof jacket, gloves, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, camelback or regular back pack (with space remaining to shove clothes in when you get too warm), 1 Liters water, 3-4 snacks, WATERPROOF boots or non-waterproof boots/shoes and also rent "overshoes".
