Canoeing - Logan Maze Marshes 5/14/22

Beautiful place to get lost looking for birds

Directions - Put in/take out - Cutler Marsh Marina, Logan

Cost - Gas $10 (work out with your driver)

Canoe Rental $10-20 (with 3 ladies per canoe)

Activity -

Canoe Cutler Marsh Maze - Paddle about 2-3 hours around these winding streams. Birds, fish and wildlife are abundant. Will hope to find a bird nesting area or two! Trip Report. Routes in Marshes. We left north under the bridge, paddled north east to the bottom of the large cutler reservoir and then headed north about 1/2 way up the large body of water and then looped west and south (making sure you didn't get stuck in the large dead end - see map).

Gear - Thin T-shirt, thin long-sleeve shirt, fleece, rain jacket, shorts or hiking pants, running shoes or sandals, swimming suit, 2 L water bottles, snacks, small backpack/drybag, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, BINOCULARS, first aid kit. Canoe, paddles, life jackets are provided.

Rent - BYU Outdoor - $25 canoe/day

UVU Outdoor Adventure Center - $30 canoe/day

Eddy's Bad Apply Outfitters - $20/canoe, $60/trailer (6-8 canoes plus trailer in Logan)

Itinerary -

Trailhead (Cutler Marsh Marina) - 945 am

Arrive and prep at marina - 10am

Canoe Marshes- 1030-330pm
