Itinerary -
Carpooling - 9 am
Put in - 10 am
Canoe - 10 - 12 pm
Drive home
Directions - Put in/take out - Skipper Bay, Provo River (Boat ramp is easily accessible, short, and paved down to the water level. Can easily load the canoes without getting wet.)
Cost - Canoe Rental $10-20 (with 2-3 ladies per canoe)
Activity -
Canoe Provo River Delta - Paddle about 2 hours around this bay. Birds, fish and wildlife are abundant. If you go left after the put in and towards the lake, the birds were plentiful. If you head right, it takes you further up the river to navigate some small riffles which is great fun for the adventurous.
Tip -
Some areas had some very shallow parts even out in the bay so be aware. They are a great place to just chill though.
Spring is a perfect time for visiting as the migrating birds are coming through and bird watching is plentiful
Gear - Thin T-shirt, thin long-sleeve shirt, fleece, rain jacket, shorts or hiking pants, running shoes or sandals, swimming suit, 2 L water bottles, snacks, small backpack/drybag, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, BINOCULARS, first aid kit. Canoe, paddles, life jackets are provided.

BYU Outdoor - $25 canoe/day
UVU Outdoor Adventure Center - $30 canoe/day
Poynt Break Rentals - $210 for 8 canoes and trailer
