Biannual Canyoneering Clinic for all ladies wanting to go on canyoneering trips.

Activities:

Canyoneering Clinic - Our ladies learned how to canyoneer! Our awesome guide, Jeremy Pyne, taught us the Core Skills from the American Canyoneering Association, including Logics and Safety, Leave No Trace, Rope and Equipment Care, Basic Knots, Intro to Anchors and Rigging, Signals/Communication, Climbing/Spotting/Hand Lines, Rappelling/Belaying/Self-Rescue skills. Rappelling experience required in the last 2 years.

Gear: harness (can rent), helmet (can rent), 1 L water, snacks

Rentals (on your own) - Harness: $5/day (BYU Outdoors Unltd); $17 (BYU Outdoors Unltd)

Helmet: $4/day (BYU Outdoors Unltd); $4/day (UVU Outdoor

Adventure Center)
