E-Biking - Zion NP 11/5/22

What better way to cruise through the park at your own pace?


Itinerary:

7:00 am - Carpooling (4 hr drive)

11:00 am - arrive at Outa Here Ebikes, Springdale

11:30 - 5:30 pm - Ride through park and check out beautiful spots/hikes along the way

5:30 pm - return Ebikes

6:00 pm - dinner on Springdale

7:00 - 11:00 pm - drive home (OPTION link this activity with Zion Narrows the day before)


Directions: Start - Outa Here EBikes, Springdale


Cost: $20 per bike parks pass for 7 days or free with National Parks Pass; No permit needed for Bottom Up.

$ 79/6 hr Ebike rental (reserve online ahead of time)


Activity: E-Bike Zions NP - Start at "Outa Here" bike shop and head east on main road into the park. Choose from the Pa'arus, Zions Scenic, or the Zion Mt Carmel Hwy rides.


Optional Route - Ride up the Pa'arus trail to the Zion's Scenic Road to the end (Temple of Sinawava) and walk the Riverside Trail to the base of the Narrows and back.


Gear: E-bike, helmet, running shoes, 2 waterbottles in backpack (most bikes don't have bottle holders), bike repair kit (patches, 3 bike levers, spare tube, pump - if you have them or rental company gives you one)


Rentals:

OutaHere EBikes, Springdale - open 8:00 am to 7:00 pm

Adult Cruiser - $79/6 hr pick up between 8:00 - 11:00 am


Zion Guru, Springdale - open 8:00 am - 8:00 pm

Adult Cruiser - $79/4 hr 9:00 am - 1:00 pm or 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm


BYU Outdoors

Adult Cruiser - $40/day


UVU Adventure Center

Adult Cruiser - $50/day
