Hike Lake Solitude - Lake Solitude Trail is a 3.3 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Salt Lake City, Utah that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. Start at the Silver Lake boardwalk trail (VERY popular for MOOSE sightings) and follow it to the right and take your first right. Follow trail straight at the next two junctions and cross a frisbee golf and mt biking trail. Continue around and up the mountain straight through the next junction and up to the lake. Took about 30-45 min. You can circle the lake which added another 15- 20 min. We had full phone reception the whole time and flushing toilets were at the trailhead south of the visitors center bldg. No dogs allowed. Trail Report
