Activity: Hiking/Snowshoeing Pine Hollow Trail - 4.3 mile loop hike up American Fork Canyon with a meadow and beautiful mountain views. Trail starts right before the winter road gate on the left. About 45 min of uphill in the sun before crossing a couple streams to the base of the loop. (this section appears to have some avalanche danger in the winter as it crosses below unprotected slopes). Loop is nice clockwise and takes you to a meadow in about 15 min. Great for camping. Trail hits highpoint at Ridge Connector before dropping down moderately to Salamander Flats Campground and wrapping around again to the base of the loop. Great views of Mt Timpanogos. Trail Report
