Hiking - Wardsworth Canyon Trail, Hobble Creek Cyn, Springville 10/8/25

Sample Itinerary - 

Hike - 10-1pm

Directions - Wardsworth Cyn Trailhead, Hobble Creek Cyn -  Once dirt  begins you have gone too far.

Activity -

Hiking Wardsworth Canyon -  5 miles total out and back. We will not do the full 10 mi. loop and trail is fairly flat. The trail is beautiful but very muddy in places and a lot of cow manure on the trail. There are a lot of river crossings and some are a little difficult. Also, the road gate is closed adding about 5 minutes each way to the hike to get to the trailhead. Also, if I wanted to go slightly longer, I'd connect it to the dry creek trail instead of an out and back. It would require a short shuttle to be set up. NOTE - You may get wet and muddy this time of year  All Trails Trip Report

Gear -  Hiking  pants, synthetic T-shirt, long sleeve  synthetic top, fleece, light waterproof jacket(optional), hat,  sunglasses, sunscreen, gloves, camelback or regular back pack with waist  belt, 1.5  Liter water, 1-2 snacks, first aid kit, hiking boots/running shoes
