Sample Itinerary:
10-12 pm - Mt Biking
Directions: Little Valley Trailhead in Draper, Little Valley Trailhead. Enter straight into Instructional Trails. Alternate route - park at Potato Hill trail head then take Ann's trail south to Little Valley Loop, then to the Instructional Trails.
Activity: Mountain bike Little Valley Loop and Instructional Trails. Trails are perfect for beginners, even kids. Several loops in advancing skill. We like to start with Trail A and ride it a few times for newbies. When they feel comfortable then you can add Trail B (has more turns) and then Trail C (turns and a bridge with a drop off). Utah Mt Biking Trip Report
Tips:
Trail C has a couple of bridges with a bigger drop off after the bridge to warn riders about.
Trail D is longer than the map shows, it may actually be the longest route.
Great place for beginners! Can also ride some of Ann’s trail close by if you want to explore some more.
Wear elbow, knee pads and gloves - almost every kid crashes at least once here
Bring an Allen wrench for quick bike adjustments
Gear: Mt bike (strider bikes or kid bikes), helmet, knee/elbow pads, gloves, first aid kit, bike pump, bike repair kit , 1 L water, snacks, closed toed shoes, shorts/T-shirt, long sleeve, rain jacket, sunscreen, sunglasses
