Road Biking - Murdock Trail 5/14/22

Drive: I-15, east 800 N Orem exit, left Palisades Park before Provo canyon. Trailhead

Activities:

Road Bike Murdock Trail (Palisades Park to Highland Glen and back): 11 miles one way. Start at Palisades Park and follow paved trail north to Highland Glen Park. Can make it to Thanksgiving Point and connect to Jordan River Parkway in SLC if desired.

Gear: Road bike, helmet, bike shoes/running shoes, bike shorts/shorts/leggings, bike shirt/synthetic athletic shirt, 2 waterbottles, bike repair kit (patches, 3 bike levers, spare tube, pump)

Rentals: Road Bike ($35 BYU Outdoors Unlimited, $30 UVU Outdoor Adventure Center)

Helmet ($4 BYU Outdoors Unlimited, $3 UVU Outdoor Adventure Center)
