Rock Climbing - Lead Climbing Clinic, Ledgemere, Big Cottonwood Cyn 6/13/26

Itinerary:

Meet up - 8 am

Climbing Clinic - 815-12:00 pm

Directions:  Ledgemere Picnic Area Parking lot, Big Cottonwood Cyn

We usually climb on the far west climbs on the south side of the road at the end of the paved path.

Activity:

Training - We will go over all the skills needed to lead routes, lead belay and clean routes. Participants will have the opportunity to mock lead and practice lead belaying. Set up a line and have the participants work mock leading with top belay, while others practiced skills.

Gear: Harness (can rent), helmet (can rent), exercise clothing, hiking shoes, climbing shoes (can rent), 1-2 L water, daypack, 2-4 snacks, sunscreen, sunglasses, first aid kit
