Snorkel - 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Directions: Bonneville Seabase, Grantsville
Cost: $25 day use fee and gear rental (mask and fins) for $14
Activity: Snorkeling - Facility provides instruction. No experience necessary. Heated by natural warm salt water springs (from the Great Salt Lake aquafer. Cloudy cool/warm water with several species of salt water fish. Indoor pool area is warmest and covered and about 16 ft deep. Connects to the large outside pool by a 10 ft tunnel and is about 30 ft deep. There is another deeper, smaller pool for scuba certifications. This place is not fancy, but simple. SEABASE IS CURRENTLY CLOSED (We talked with Linda, the owner to get permission)
Gear: snorkle and mask (can rent), swimming suit, towel, change of clothing, snacks, 1-2 L water
