Rock Climbing - St George (Green Valley Gap) 4/10/21

Great hideaway just on the western outskirts of St George. A fun little gorge full of trad, sport and top rope routes. You can hike up the canyon or drive to the top of your climb for easy access.

Drive: I-15 south, rt Dixie Drive (St George), left Canyon View Dr, take dirt road until you get to dirt parking lot with kiosk. Trailhead

Rock Climbing: Parking Slot

5.6+ Top rope 40 feet, 2 sets of chains. Climbing Info

Hiking: Scrambling over sandstone, small slot canyon, pioneer house in the rock

Gear: Harness, helmet, belay device, climbing shoes, locking carabiners, slings/cordellette
