A Jungle of forts, stumps and windy paths to explore!

Sample Itinerary:

9-10:30 am - Hike

Directions: Carolina Hills Trailhead, Draper

Activity: Hiking Jungle Trail - 1 mile total out and back. At the trailhead, take the trail to the south east - largest trail (otherwise you will run into downhill mt bikers on the center trail). Follow trail up the hill and then down again. Stay to the left past the water spillway on the right. The Jungle trail entrance will be shortly after on the right. Follow the Jungle trail north and down, through windy paths, large trees, wikiups, and stumps for jumping and huts for exploring. The trail will run into another mt biking trail. Turn around here. DO NOT try to turn this into a loop. The mt biking trail will bring you way down canyon and it's a long hike back for kids.  All Trails Trip Report

  • WARNING - Poisen Ivy is found usually between the spillway and the entrance to the Jungle trail. They have been removing alot and we didn't see any on our hike this year. There are signs so you know what to look for.
