Itinerary:
5:30 am - Drive down (3.5 hr drive)
9:00 am - Set up shuttle (drop off one vehicle at the end)
9:30 am - Trailhead
10:00 am - Hike to first rappel
1:00 pm - Hike out
2:00 pm - Exit Trailhead
3:00 pm - Lunch in Moab
7:30 pm - Home
Directions: Geyser Pass Winter Trailhead, Moab
From Moab drive south along Highway 191 towards Spanish Valley. Take Old Airport Road East until you reach La Sal Loop Road. Take La Sal Loop Road south, up into the mountains, eventually turning off onto Geyser Pass Road, a graded dirt road, suitabel for 2WD vehicles. Take Geyser pass road up just short of 3 miles til you reach a small parking lot and trailhead for Squaw Springs Trail.
