Itinerary:
9:00 AM - Breakfast Mountain Mamas Cafe
10:30 AM Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center
1:00 PM Lunch
2:30 PM Cross Country Ski/Snowshoe/Micro Spike Hike Riverside Ski Trails Trailhead
5:30 PM Dinner in West Yellowstone at Restaurant or on own at cabin.

Cross Country Skiing - Groomed 4-6mi loops. Starts at trailhead and is groomed 1 miles until the sign to start the loops near the river and 1 mile further sometimes. There are some steep ups and downs so beginners may want to walk those. Left (downriver) Loop - 1.5 miles. Right (upriver) Loop - full 3.5 miles or shorter 2.2 miles. All Trails Trip Report
Snowshoeing - Start at the trailhead and then wander off into the woods and play. This was honestly the funnest way to snowshoe
Gear - Micro spikes, Snowshoes or Cross Country Skis, (NO COTTON) thermal top and bottom (synthetic yoga pants), wool socks or just not cotton socks, snow pants (if it will be snowing, otherwise they get too hot), long sleeve fleece, light waterproof jacket, gloves, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, camelback or regular back pack (with space remaining to shove clothes in when you get too warm), 1-2 Liter water bottle, 3-4 snacks +road trip snacks and such, toiletries, casual clothing, swimsuit, yoga mat, PJ's, relaxing clothing, $ for lunches and dinners.
