Downhill Skiing - Alta (Swimsuit Skiing) 4/17/21

Drive: I-15 north, east 9000 s, up Little Cottonwood Cyn to Alta Ski Resort at the end of the road, lower parking lot. Meet in front of the Ski School. Meet outside the Albion Grill for tailgate.

Activity:

Tailgate - Meet outside the Albion Grill. Will be grilling up brats and having a potluck prior to skiing

Downhill Skiing - Ski down to the free Snow Pine lift. Can also ski Sunnyside lift from 3-

430 pm. Daypasses were not available this year 2021.

Gear: Downhill skiis, poles, boots, helmet, long sleeve synthetic shirt, liner pants, ski pants, ski coat, gloves, hat, goggles, sunscreen, costume or swimsuit!

Rentals: Downhill ski package ($17 BYU Outdoors Unlimited, $18 with helmet UVU

Outdoor Adventure Center, $34 1/2 day Alta)

Helmet ($6 BYU Outdoors Unlimited)
