Hiking - "G" Pleasant Grove 5/15/21

The first of our "Hike the Letters" hiking series!

Directions: Pleasant Grove, Utah Battle creek Falls Trailhead

Activities:

Hike the "G" - 1.9 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail that offers scenic views and is rated as moderate. Dogs can come, but must be kept on leash. Battlecreek Falls Trailhead. The trail is very difficult to find. Cross the bridge and go through the pavilion. The trail is a small dirt path on your right. Follow it east until it goes through the wooden fence. From here, the trail wraps around the west side of the foothills and past a large metal pipe and continues on uphill. It levels out and passes a small radio tower on the left before heading up to the "G". There are very old and broken stairs on the rt side of the "G". Recommend using a GPS app to keep from getting lost like "Gaia" or "All Trails".

Gear: T-shirt, long sleeve fleece, light waterproof jacket, hiking pants/shorts, gloves, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, camelback or regular back pack, 1 Liters water, 3-4 snacks, hiking shoes/boots.
