Hiking - Night Hike the "Y" 4/22/21

Graduation Night makes this hike magical!

Drive: I-15, east Provo Center St exit, left 900 E, rt 820 N, left Oakmont Ln, rt Oakcliff Dr,

Terrace Dr to Trailhead

Activities:

Hike "Y" at night - There are only a few times a year where this landmark lights the night

and Graduation and other special days at BYU. Note - take pictures on turn 7 on

the cool cliff (great time for a break as it is half-way). Many switchbacks, steep,

loose rock in places. Trail Report.

Gear: Hiking pants, long sleeve shirt, long sleeve fleece, light waterproof jacket, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, camelback or regular back pack, 1-2 Liters water, 3-4 snacks, boots/running shoes, headlamp. Sample Itinerary:

7 pm - meet at Trailhead (make sure you start late enough)

8 pm - Hike to Y

9 pm - back at trailhead
