Activity:

Mt Biking - Bar M Trails - Sandstone trails with some mild to moderate ups and downs.

  • Start with the Bar M Loop Trail - 7 mile loop. Counter Clockwise - Starts at the south west corner of the parkinglot. We followed the dirt trail south and then connected it left onto the last bit of the EZ trail and down to the Bar M Loop. The EZ section was a little technical for beginners (alternate is to take the paved road along the highway and then cut over to the south end of the Bar M Trail). The trail has a gradual uphill with some loose rocks. It turns left and follows the gorge for beautiful distant views of Arches. The trail heads north with some slickrock up and down but mellow. There is a midway short cut back to the parkinglot if needed for tired riders. If not, finish the loop to the north. There was some sand at the northern side for just a short period and then a dirt double track coming back south.

  • Rusty Spur - great little loop for new riders (better than Lazy or EZ)

  • EZ-Lazy Loop - 3 mile loop. Start with EZ and run it counter clockwise and end with Lazy as a loop and return to the trail. Has short up and downs with rocky sections and some 6-18 inch drops. Can walk sections if needed. Trail Forks Trip Report
