Mountain Bike Bobsled Trail - 1.7 mile one way. Rating difficulty HARD. Need to set up a shuttle or start the ride with a steep neighborhood ride. This is an iconic local Salt Lake City downhill trail. 15 min uphill ride (~1 mile) to the Bonneville Shoreline Trail. At the top there is a flat area to congregate and pad up. The first 1/3 is steep with loose rock and a narrow gully; typically some fast and rough berms that can get a bit choppy from both the brake bumps and often spring water finds a channel right down the middle. Second 1/3 section is the fun big berms with many jump and gap options. The last 1/3 has old rusty cars with optional jumps. Cross the road for the 'Peter's Drops' section of the trail to finish on 11th Ave. Trailforks Trip Report
