Sample Itinerary:

1:00 pm - Carpool to Alta

2:00 pm - 2:30 pm - Bathroom/Ski rental

2:30 pm - 3 pm - Instruction

3:00 pm - 4:00 pm - Free ski with Instruction

Drive: I-15 north, east 9000 s, up Little Cottonwood Cyn to Alta Ski Resort at the end of the road, lower parking lot. Meet in front of the Ski School (1st floor - south side). If you want to park at the top of the Snow Pine ski lift go here.

Activity: 

Downhill Skiing - Ski down to the FREE

Snow Pine lift. Beginner lift - 2 short runs. Lift is absolutely FREE every day of the week during ski season 9:00am - 4:30pm.

Gear: Downhill skiis, poles, boots, helmet, long sleeve synthetic shirt, liner pants, ski pants, ski coat, gloves, hat, goggles, sunscreen, costume or swimsuit

Rentals: Downhill ski package ($25 BYU Outdoors Unlimited, $20 with helmet UVU Outdoor Adventure Center, $15 Youth/$25 Adults 1/2 day Alta Albion Ski Shop) Helmet ($6 BYU Outdoors Unlimited)
