Directions: Battle Creek Falls Trail on AllTrails
Activity: Hike 0.6 miles one way to frozen Battle Creek Falls. The winter waterfalls are so amazing and change week to week! Be sure to bring yak tracks/spikes/crampons for traction on hard snow and ice or snowshoes if there has been recent snowfall.
Gear: Hiking or snow pants, snowshoes or microspikes, gloves, synthetic t-shirt, long sleeve synthetic top, long sleeve fleece, light waterproof jacket, light down coat, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, camelback or regular back pack with waist belt, 2-3 Liters water, 4-6 snacks, first aid kit, hiking boots or shoes/snowboots, headlamp. *dependent on weather

Notes: Recent recon showed a snow-packed trail. Bring micro spikes for a nicer hike and if you want to climb on the bottom of the waterfall, but they're not mandatory. Hard snow at the center of the trail soft snow on the sides. No ice. No snowshoes needed.
