Snowshoeing - Gloria Falls 12/22/25

Trailhead - 10 am

Snowshoeing/Hiking - 10:15-12:00 pm

Drive Home


Directions: Little Cottonwood Cyn, White Pine Trailhead


Activity:

Snowshoeing/Hiking Gloria Falls -  2.8 mile easy out and back trail starting at White Pine Trailhead. Take the trail south west of the parking lot past the kiosk, then head south. Cross the bridge and take an immediate rt. Head up a gradual dirt wide trail about 30 min to the second kiosk. The second kiosk is the trail fork for White Pine to the left and Red Pine to the right. Follow the trail to Red Pine that goes right behind the kiosk and to the left. Follow just a couple minutes to the second bridge. Cross the bridge and take an immediate left heading south. Follow the largest trail on the right side of the river 10 minutes to the waterfalls. Trip Report. 


Gear: Snowshoes (may rent or bring own), Snowshoe poles (may rent or bring own), Winter waterproof boots, Liner pants (not cotton), Ski pants, Gaiters (optional for deep snow), T-shirt (not cotton), Long sleeve shirt (not cotton), Fleece or down insulating layer, Waterproof jacket, Gloves, Hand-warmers, Neck Gaiter (optional), Daypack with waist belt, 1-2 L water in water bottles or water pouch (if warm weather), 1 snack per hour on activity, Sunglasses, Knit hat, Sunscreen, Camera, Personal first aid kit

Snowshoes – ($12/day with overboots - UVU Outdoor Adventure Center; $13/day BYU Outdoors; $5 overboots)
