Itinerary:
Carpooling - 530 pm
Trailhead - 6 pm
Training - 6-7 pm
Run Practice Course - 7-8 pm
Directions: Big Springs Park, Provo Cyn
Activity: Orienteering - learn how to use a map and compass for navigation. We will also review GPS apps, maps and beacons.

Setting a bearing
Do first one together to set paces
Break up into teams at different starting points and complete the course (1/2 mile loop)
Set up course beforehand with flagging tied to trees. Remove after activity
Gear: Compass, water, snacks, clothing appropriate for weather (maps will be provided)
