Youth Adventures - Snow Caves, Big Springs, Provo 2/19/24

Dig and explore your own snow cave!

Sample Itinerary:

10am upper parking lot

10-12pm - dig out snow caves and play

Directions: Upper pavilion, Big Springs Park, Provo Cyn

Activity:

We go up the day before and pile up multiple mounds of snow about 4 hr by 4 ft and let them settle overnight. When the youth come the next day they first start by digging an opening about 2 ft x 2ft at the bottom. Continue straight in about 3 ft.

Gear: snow boots, gloves, hat, snow pants, coat, metal snow shovel
