Float the Snake River - 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm (see Trip Report: Rafting - Snake River, Jackson WY 6/23/23)
The Snake is largely a flat, wide river with some fun 2 rated rapids, but those are easy to avoid if needed. Professional rafting companies lead this route as their “Family Scenic Float” or “Nature Observation Tour.” It took us 2.5 hrs including a .5 hr snack break.
**Must be 4 and older to raft
**5 person rafts must each have 3 adults (or responsible older teens, limiting 2 young children per raft). Necessary to navigate raft.
**Highly recommend starting your raft journey by following a professional rafting tour. It makes your navigation so easy - just follow them. They leave often from shore!

Kayak - 1.5 miles (Jenny Lake)
Hike - 1.8 mile loop (Inspiration Point) then kayak back across Jenny Lake
Bike 7.5 miles south to Moose and back
Shopping/Dinner - 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Drive Home - 5:00 pm - 10:30 pm
Rafting/Kayaking Gear: sandals (NOT flipflops), swimming suit, shorts, synthetic t-shirt (NOT cotton), long sleeve synthetic shirt, rain jacket, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, 2-4 snacks, 1-2 L water (in water bottles NOT camelbaks), waterproof case for camera, raft/kayak, lifejacket, paddles (rent from BYU outdoor)
