Hike - Paul Bunyan's Woodpile 4/15/23

Itinerary:

8:00 am - Carpooling

9:00 am - 11:00 am - Hike

Drive: I-15 south to Santaquin, Hwy 6 west, past Eureka, left Paul Bunyans Rd. Trailhead

* As of April 2023, the first dirt road was washed out, but you can take this dirt road: it’s the second turn off of Hwy 6

Activity:

Hike - Paul Bunyan's Woodpile - 1.6 mile out and back trail. Multiple stream crossings. Dirt trail follows gully, then ascends slope with short switchbacks to rock formation and arch. No bathrooms. Dogs yes - watch for cows in the summer. Limited cell phone service. All Trails Trip Report.

Gear: Hiking pants, long sleeve or short sleeve shirt, long sleeve fleece, light waterproof jacket, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, bug spray that includes ticks, camelback or regular back pack, 1-2 Liters water, 3-4 snacks, boots/running shoes, laser tag guns and vests
