Hiking - Grandeur Peak

Itinerary:

8-1 pm: Hike to peak and back

Drive: I-15 North, 2-15 east, 3900 S exit, left Wasatch Blvd, rt 3800 S up Millcreek Cyn to

Church Fork Picnic Area..Drive up through the picnic area to a small parking area and kiosk.

Activities:

Hiking Grandeur Peak - 6.5 miles round trip. Generally considered a challenging route, it takes an average of 3 h 33 min to complete. Saw one rattlesnake and heard lots of slithering in the bushes but had no incidences. Start early in the day because this is a very hot hike. This was a fabulous hike and absolutely gorgeous! Gear: hiking pants/shorts, long sleeve or short sleeve shirt, long sleeve fleece, light waterproof jacket, gloves, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, camelback or regular back pack, 2 Liters water, 3-4 snacks, shoes/boots
