Hiking - Waterfall Canyon 4/27/23

Itinerary:

8:15 am - Carpooling

10:00 am - Hike

12:00 pm - Back at Trailhead

2:00 pm - Home

Drive: 29th Street Trailhead, Ogden

Activity: Hike Waterfall Cyn - 2.4-mile out-and-back trail. Great valley and waterfall views. Steep, intermediate hike. Popular for hikers, it takes you above the valley and then follows the waterway up the canyon. Dogs welcome but must be on leash. The view of the waterfall and the valley make this steep hike worth it. Look out for ice and snow in winter and spring. Bathrooms at the trailhead. Cell service. An area for many trail junctions so good to watch your Alltrail map as we almost went on wrong trail twice. All Trails Trip Report.

Gear: Hiking pants, long sleeve shirt, long sleeve fleece, light waterproof jacket, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, camelback or regular back pack, 1-2 Liters water, 3-4 snacks, boots/running shoes, headlamp.
