Activity: Kayaking/Paddleboard Silver Lake Flats - Put in on the west rocky shore. Walk is about 100 ft from the parking area depending on water levels. No shade, trees or grass. Water is cold but clear. Views wonderful. Fishing ususally on the east side.
Tips:
There are no trailers allowed on the dirt road from tibble fork parking lot up to silver lake flat. So kayaks/paddleboards will need to be transported in minivans or in pickups.
Earlier the better for smoother water
Later in the summer this reservoir may get drained so early summer is best to visit
