Itinerary -
Carpooling or rappelling Cougar Cliffs
Reservoir and instruction - 2:30 pm
Float - 3-5 pm
Clean up - 5-5:30 pm
Dinner - 6-7 pm
Drive Home - 7-10:30 pm
Directions - Quail Creek State Park Boat Ramp, St George
Cost - State Parks day pass $15/vehicle (Quail Creek State Park)
Activity -
Paddleboard Quail Creek State Park - Beautiful reservoir (trip report) Put in at the boat ramp and paddle up the reservoir to the east until you get to the inlet flowing in from the left (north). Follow this up as far as you want on flat water through what feels like a jungle and then back.
Gear - Thin T-shirts, thin long-sleeve shirts, fleece, rain jacket, shorts or hiking pants, swimming suit, water shoes, running shoes or sandals, 2 L water bottles, snacks, small backpack/drybag, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, first aid kit, Paddleboard, paddles, lifejackets
Rent - BYU Outdoor - $30 paddleboard/day
UVU Outdoor Adventure Center - $20 paddleboard/day
DIG Paddleboard Rentals - $25/2 hrs
